Last week, we introduced the incredible testimony of Corrie Ten Boom, a Christian woman who survived unimaginable atrocities during the Holocaust.
In her concentration camp, her barracks were overcome by fleas. Because of the fleas, the guards stayed out of these barracks, allowing for the opportunity for Corrie to share the gospel freely with her fellow prisoners. What was initially a curse soon turned into a blessing.
Corrie shared, “The blacker the night around us grew, the brighter, and truer, and more beautiful burned the word of God.” Even if the conditions around us look grim, trust that the Lord will use those situations to shine His light in the darkest moments.
