Like myself, many of us have experienced the terror of almost losing a child. Even worse, some have suffered that loss in reality. Those moments of panic or grief reveal in us a love for our children that makes all worldly treasures pale in comparison.
During the Easter season, we often hear the passage about Jesus crying out to the Lord shortly before His death. But today, I want you to flip that narrative around and view it from the Father’s perspective.
The sacrifice that the Father made on our behalf, as He watched His Son suffer and die, is immense. Yet, He went through this pain out of love for His children. As we dwell on the love we have for our own children, may we remember that it is only a fraction of the love that the Father has for His own. God bless.
