In Mark 4, we read the account of the disciples facing a storm as they crossed the Sea of Galilee. When Jesus wakes up, he asks the disciples why they fear.

They had just witnessed him perform many miracles, yet they still doubted that he would protect them from the storm. As Max Lucado aptly explained, “Fear creates a form of spiritual amnesia. It dulls out miracle memory. It makes us forget what Jesus has done and how good God is.”

So today, if you are walking through a season of fear, I encourage you to look back and remember how God has never left you through the storms of life.
