Years ago, I was sitting with a pastor who had faced severe persecution over the course of his life. I asked him what his worst day looked like and he responded without hesitation. In the tropical country where he was living, the authorities placed him in a small metal box, where he suffered under the oppressive heat of the sun. It’s hard to imagine this degree of torture for our faith here in the West.

You may never find yourself in a literal prison, but you have obstacles of your own that the Lord will use to draw you closer to Him. It is often at our lowest points that our faith is strengthened like never before. God bless and thank you for your continued care for the persecuted.
