During a recent work gathering, a colleague expressed frustration at the enormity of persecution. To be frank, no matter how hard we try, we won’t be able to save everyone.
Another staffer chimed in with a quote from the book Kisses from Katie, written by a woman who dedicated her life to serving orphaned children in Uganda. She wrote, “People who really want to make a difference in the world usually do it one way or another… Over time, the small changes add up and can transform cities, nations, and yes, the world.”
We will never be able to stop persecution. However, we can transform the life of each individual we encounter by sharing heartfelt love and tangible support. In time, this will change the world.
